NEHEMIAH- BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP

Nehemiah was a unique leader in his day and after studying the life of Nehemiah the Biblical character for several years, I still cannot say that this man fits into a single category of prophet, priest, or apostle. It’s as if he were a prototype for Jesus and His followers to come, divergent, if you will. He held several titles, but who he was as demonstrated by his God-giving calling and roles throughout his years grew, rather than changed.

I’ve found myself relating to Nehemiah in function many times throughout my years in ministry. Some of the qualities of a “Nehemiah type” are builders, strategists, rallyists, delegators, organizers, governors, spear-headers, and you could say those driven by their calling.

My thought in publishing these notes was merely to help other leaders identify and grow in the qualities of their function as Apostolic leaders. My prayer is that as you read-pray-study this book you are unlocked in areas of your own leadership as a parent, ministry leader and co-laborer in the Kingdom of God.
